Like a lot of young performers, I got my start singing, dancing and acting in local theatre. Before long I was performing in professional productions and National Tours. In 2015, I realized a dream when I was cast in the Broadway production of School of Rock. This challenged me as an actor, a singer and an instrumentalist. I had to learn bass for the audition and I did … in three days! Imagine the thrill when I heard I booked the show. Learn more about my work on stage and screen here! I joined the 25th Anniversary Touring Company of LES MISERABLES in December of 2012. I traveled all over North America, visiting 27 cities over the next nine months while playing the roles of Little Cosette and Young Eponine. One of my favorite moments was singing "Castle on a Cloud" in the final show of the 2-1/2 year tour.
I had the best time working on television’s most famous street. Working alongside Andy Grammer and the muppets was a dream! Abby Cadabby is adorable. The episode aired February, 2019. Check back for more info. I can’t wait!
It was thrilling to be a part of the 2014 National Tour of WHITE CHRISTMAS. WHITE CHRISTMAS tells the story of two showbiz buddies putting on a show in a picturesque Vermont inn, and finding their perfect mates in the bargain. I played the role of Susan Waverly and loved the chance to sing and dance in this happy seasonal show filled with classics by Irving Berlin.
The Oscar Hammerstein award is named in honor of the legendary lyricist and librettist who helped to shape American Musical Theatre. In 2017, the award was presented to Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones (The Fantastiks, I Do I Do, 110 in the Shade and more). The show was directed by Richard Jay-Alexander with musical direction by Andrew Gerle. What an honor to perform at the annual gala which benefits the York Theatre Company.
In August 2015, I appeared on HBO's weekly show, LAST WEEK TONIGHT with John Oliver. In a segment for Washington D.C. statehood, I, along with a bunch of my Broadway pals had a blast singing a modified version of the "50 States" song for John Oliver and his viewers. Watch the video here (we come in at 15:30).
The cast of School of Rock joined the casts of CATS and Phantom of the Opera in a one of a kind Broadway Mashup. Thank you Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber for creating such beautiful music. It was a thrill to be a part of this special mashup! Watch the video here.
I had a great time playing the principal role of Jane in the cast recording of SECONDHAND LIONS in 2018. The soon-to-be-released soundtrack was composed by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner with musical direction by Dominick Amendum. I had the honor of singing a very fun and beautiful song called "You Have to See It To Believe It"!
Most Broadway Musicals come to the great white way having started first as readings and workshops. The creative team uses these forums to develop the plot and work out the details. I learned so much playing the lead role of Iris in the readings of a fabulous new musical; THE GREAT BLUENESS by four-time Richard Rodgers award winner, Andrew Gerle. Working with Tony Award nominee John Carrafa was equally thrilling! Can’t wait to see where the show goes!
Who remembers WONDERAMA? This iconic studio audience participation show has come back to television! It is hosted by David Osmond and I got to appear on the show in May 2017. The episode featured Badiene Magaziner (my fabulous voice teacher) and some of her students.
