I am so grateful to have been invited to participate and perform in a very fun and inspiring violin program at the Heifetz Institute PEG in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
I have been working with faculty members from Juilliard and The Manhattan School of Music as well as other talented young musicians. I am making new friends and enjoying chamber music, fiddling - and still finding time to audition for Broadway and film and practice my other instruments! Read more ...
I’m producing some of my songs, playing lots of violin, bass and guitar - and auditioning.
Here’s a sneak peek at some of my new headshots - you can see move above in the slider and even more coming soon!
"PLEDGING ALLEGIANCE TO THE BAND ONE LAST TIME" *
I've had the most amazing time performing for almost two years in the original cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber's SCHOOL OF ROCK - The Musical, on Broadway. May 14, 2017 was my final day at the show, and like most of the original cast-members before me, I have finally graduated from "Horace Green Prep". I'm grateful to everyone that helped me along the way. From rehearsals at New 42 to meeting Andrew Lloyd Webber, Laurence Connor, JoAnn Hunter, Ethan Popp and Glenn Slater -- to the Tony Awards, Good Morning America, the Thanksgiving Day parade, Stevie Nicks, Barbra Streisand and much more, it has been an incredible dream I've lived for 20+ months. Special thanks to four of my mentors, David Ruttura, Patrick O'Neill, Lulu Lloyd and Darren Ledbetter from whom I have learned so much about music, acting and dancing. I have made a lifelong family. Here are some photos and video clips from our closing bows and celebration afterward. Enjoy! Keep checking my website and social pages for what's next for me. Until then ... #rockon! TUNES IN TIMES SQUARE I hope you will join me on Sunday, May 7th at TUNES IN TIMES SQUARE. Look for me in the Broadway Pedestrian Plaza (between 46th and 47th). I will be there singing my new song, "Angel". I'm so excited for its debut - and I'm scheduled to perform sometime between 4:30 and 5pm. Tunes in Times Square is presented by Magical Music for Life. I am so pleased to support a wonderful organization that uses music to better the lives of children. Read more here ...

KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY
Kids' Night on Broadway (the 21st Annual) took place in New York City February 28th. It is an annual event where kids can attend Broadway shows for free! They just need to bring a grown up with them. The Broadway kids participated in an event at Sardi's. Here are some photos from the event. It's one of my favorite nights of the year!
A BUSY JANUARY During the month of January, I performed as Summer (the band manager), Katie (the bass lead), Shonelle (the backup singer) and Madison (one of the roadies). It's so much fun covering so many roles. When I get to the theatre, I never know who I might be playing! Thanks to everyone who came to see us!
THE HARLEM TIMES This month, I was featured in The Harlem Times. Ramon Maben interviewed me about my interests, my music and my work at School of Rock.
RECORDING AT AVATAR STUDIOS In addition to my work at School of Rock, I also audition for (and sometimes book) the coolest jobs. Here I am at one of my favorite places ... Avatar Studios ... where I record musical audio books for some of their clients and other projects. I can't wait until the next one.
NEW HEADSHOTS I love getting new headshots. You can see all of my photos here - even those from when I was little! Here's is one of my new ones ... with glasses! Special thanks to David and Lena Kaptein for a great shoot. I loved working with both of you!
BEN PLATT! One of my favorite things to do (when I have some time) is to see other Broadway shows. I think all actors on Broadway enjoy that. In January, Ben Platt (Pitch Perfect, Dear Evan Hansen) came to our show!
It was great to meet him afterward. Thanks Ben!
THE SHOW MUST GO ON Once a year, Broadway swings are recognized for their vital contributions to the business. School of Rock has some of the best swings on Broadway. I am so proud to work alongside them every day. While all Broadway swings must be versatile and have an excellent memory, our show presents us with some unique challenges. There is a tremendous amount of dance choreography for each role as well as blocking that includes moving desks, props and walls -- and an open pit! Swings are ready to go on at a moment's notice. I cover six different roles in the show including Summer (with solo songs) and Katie (the lead bass player). We work together as a company to be sure that the show ALWAYS goes on! Here's a great photo of all of the School of Rock swings.
